I aim to document the stories of the human condition through the frames of photography, multimedia and words in creative and informative ways. I'm a moment seeker, constantly searching with my eyes, instinct and camera for those instances that define who we are and the connections that interrelate us. I stand behind the unmistakable beauty and powerful documentation visual journalism provides for communities of all sizes.
I'm currently a staff photographer at theYakima Herald-Republicin beautiful central Washington.
My resumé can beseen here.
In 2015, I graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in visual journalism and a minor in creative writing. The valleys of Spokane, WA and the rocky shores of the Oregon coast are where my roots are, but I plan on never ceasing to grow in new places.
My work has been published or recognized by organizations such as: The Associated Press, The Washington Post, Thomson-Reuters, The Washington Times, The Oregonian, seattlepi.com, The Yakima Herald-Republic, The Bellingham Herald, The Coeur d'Alene Press, National Press Photographer's Association, Salish Sea Sustainable, Klipsun Magazine, The Planet Magazine and The Western Front.
